Mutt Strut

What is it?

Our first ever series of MuttStrut events is set to be an absolutely paw-some event where you and your canine chums can walk, jog, toddle or dance your way around the beautiful Strathclyde Country Park.

Summer is an exciting time of year for dogs, the days are getting longer and there are lots of new smells and animals about. As owners, we have a responsibility to ensure the safety of our pets, other countryside users, livestock and wild animals.

There will also be a chance to speak to local companies who specialise in a range of dog care services and canine social groups. It’ll be a day your dogs will be woofing about for weeks after!

Where is it?

Raising funds

As Scotland’s animal welfare charity, we’ve been helping animals for 180 years – that’s 1,260 dog years! We’re committed to supporting the welfare of all animals and without our supporters there wouldn’t be a Scottish SPCA – and there would be no one to help the thousands of animals we rescue every year.

Those who sign up will be sent a fundraising pack with a materials request form and details should you wish to raise a little extra for Scotland’s animals.

Your complimentary Scottish SPCA t-shirt can be requested before the event or collected on the day.

How can I help?

We’re looking for volunteers to come along and help on the day with a variety of tasks including registration, first aid, handing out medals and dog bones at the finish line! If you are interested in volunteering at this event, or would like more information, please contact or call 03000 999 999 (option 4).
