The Scottish SPCA wants those seeking a thrill to take on the Spooky Swing

The Scottish SPCA wants those seeking a thrill to take part in the Halloween Spooky Swing event in Perthshire.

Spooky swing

We are calling on animal lovers to take part in the ‘spook-tacular’ swing 40 metres above the River Garry.

The event will take place on Saturday 2 November and we hope to attract people looking for a frightfully unique experience.

Animal rescue and rehoming chief superintendent Sharon Comrie said, “We’re really excited to host the Spooky Swing in Killiecrankie again this year.

“This hair-raising experience is one for all the family as anyone over the age of 10 can take part.

“We are encouraging everyone to get into the Halloween spirit by dressing up for the occasion.

“The Scottish SPCA receives no government funding so we rely entirely on the support of the public.

“We hope this event will help us raise funds which will go towards the £44,000 we need every day to continue to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome and release Scotland’s animals.

“We can’t wait for everyone to get involved, it’ll be a scream!”

Everyone who takes part will receive a Scottish SPCA T-shirt.
